Onew is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor and member of one of the biggest K-Pop boy groups, SHINee. As a member and leader of SHINee, Onew debuted in 2008 as the lead vocalist of the group.

As a solo artist, Onew has released collaborative singles with Korean acts like Rocoberry. He has also released several soundtrack singles for Korean dramas. In 2018, Onew released his first solo EP titled, VOICE as a gift for his fans before his mandatory military enlistment.

As an actor, Onew has been part of the wildly successful 2017 Korean drama, Descendants of the Sun.
