Olskool Ice-Gre

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois Greg “Olskool Ice-Gre” Lewis has over 25 years of music and entertainment industry experience. His career began as a recording artist (Abstract Mindstate) but since has evolved into a well respected, highly skilled and knowledgeable “behind the scenes” music and entertainment professional. He got his start on the corporate side of the music business as assistant to the Head of Publicity at Steve Rifkins Loud/RCA Records. Having the honor as the very first A&R of Kanye West’s Good Music label, Greg also had a short stint as VP of A&R for OmniWest/E1. Early into solidifying his career as a recording artist and music industry professional, he was approached by the internationally known, multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning artist/producer/designer Kanye West who at the time was forming his team. This union resulted in a dual role as Head of Business Affairs for Konman Productions and live-in personal assistant. Greg “Olskool Ice-Gre” Lewis has worked for and with major as well as independent labels, is a self published author (irefusetoquit.com), entrepreneur (honest-management.com), creative and well rounded professional. Known in the entertainment industry as Olskool Ice-Gre, Ice-Gre or simply Olskool, Greg Lewis has been a conduit for success for many as well as a mentor and/or resource to a variety of established individuals in music, entertainment and media. He recently revisited his role as an artist, releasing a new Abstract Mindstate album titled “Dreams Still Inspire” on a platform created by his longtime friend/collaborator Ye (formally Kanye West), called YZY SND.
