Oliver Wilde is a 30-year-old British musician, poet, and producer. Wilde is noted for his bedroom production sound and lo-fi style as well as his unique, hushed singing. Currently, his band consists of himself as well as Maya Indelicato (Drums), and Lexie Jennings (Synth, Backing Vocals). Wilde has stated in an interview that he started by making music in his bedroom as a hobby. Wilde also noted that he didn’t believe that people would like his music. Wilde found that when he published his music, many people did enjoy it.
Wilde released his first album in 2013 via Howling Owl Records titled A Brief Introduction To Unnatural Lightyears. This album received substantial critical acclaim from groups such as The Guardian and NME who praised the album for being innovative and surprising. In 2014, Wilde released his second album, Red Tide Opal In The Loose End Womb. Again, critics loved his new album. Wilde even received “Album of the Day” from BBC 6 Music. Following his second album, he performed in many summertime festivals including The Great Escape Latitude Festival and End of The Road.
