The movie is a comedy, adventure and fantasy animation that tells the story of Ted, who lives in a small plastic city, built and administred by (Aloysius O'Hare](artists/aloysius-ohare-o-lorax-em-busca-da-trufula-perdida), where the entire lives of its inhabitants is planned so they need to buy the artificial packed air for the O'Hare company. Ted, then, decides to get out of the city in search of Umavezildo (called Once-Ler in English), to find a real tree and give it to Audrey, the girl who he is in love with.
