Norske Gutter were a Norwegian New Wave supergroup, formed in 1980 by gay rights activist, writer and vocalist Stein Fosslie.
The group were one of the earliest examples of queercore in Norway, with most of their work having unashamedly gay lyrics, both humorous and political.
The band released three 7" singles/mini EPs before breaking up in the mid-‘80s. They briefly reunited to release a fourth EP in 1992, however. Each release also had a different lineup.
A lot of their members were part of, or would go on to be a part of, many legendary Norwegian Punk and New Wave acts, such as Raga Rockers, Wannskrækk, Betong Hysteria and Johnny Yen Bang!
