Francisco Javier Lebron Aponte, better known by his stage name Norbel, is an American singer-songwriter and record producer born March 11, 1997, in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

Norbel started singing in the choir of kids from his hood where he moved in called Coro de Niños de Caguas. At 14, started making music with his duo Wong & Norbel releasing random stuff starting his journey. Before he graduated his High School, he already knew what he wanted to do. He already had the opportunity to attend Berklee College of Music’s camps which helped him narrow down his knowledge in music production. His parents wanted him to go to college and get a degree so he took advantage of that opportunity to study a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recording Arts at Full Sail University located in Winter Park, Florida after graduating from Notre Dame High School in 2015.

The music industry got tighter with the new upcoming artists like Brytiago, Anuel, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Lyanno, this new era of Latin Trap that he was not very used to. Back then in Puerto Rico it was mostly Reggaeton or R&B, Ballads, Salsa, Bachata, etc. It was time to step up.

Norbel’s duo from the High School days hit him up again to make music after graduating with his Degree in 2017 so they made more music. The duo split not too long after Norbel decided to step up his game by himself and since then, Norbel has been solidifying his sound focusing more on the enjoyment of his audience. The first debut of Norbel by himself was his version of Caramelo from Ozuna that was released on SoundCloud which helped him gain fans from all over Latin America. Afterward and well developed did Xxxtra with J Sanchez, Percysadboy, and Jaco. It Hit 100K streams on YouTube. Following said hit, Norbel executed Muñequita now with a more immeasurable sound. Now he’s releasing tracks like Luna Llena, Chichipartner, and others.

The stage name Norbel was coined from Francisco’s last name which is Lebron, which is read inverted as ‘Norbel’. This artist’s music is very sensual, usually energetic, and always has a message behind it. Norbel tries to carry his story around in a way that doesn’t sound like everything; always concentrating on delivering a brand new tone and memorable lyric content. His inspiration to make music is to bring to life something that was just a thought. And being able to have enough energy, creativity, and power to make it true, motivates Norbel to keep producing music.

People can expect timeless sound and the closest product to perfection from his music. He says that he is the pickiest person he knows when it comes to music and the creative process. Anything he can create within his knowledge, he promises that his music will always be at its best. He says that there is not a single client he has had from his mixing experience that has never been satisfied from his work. Bringing his voice and outstanding musical talent to everyone would be the least he could furnish to his beautiful fans.
