Brendan Walsh, professionally known as Non Native, is a New York based producer, and one half of a producing duo with Bordeaux.
Born as Brendan Martin Walsh on March 21, 2000, Non Native grew up in his hometown of Cranford, NJ. From a young age, he took an interest in music, first playing drums, and beginning to produce and make beats by the time he entered high school. He soon fully immersed himself in the New York Hip-Hop scene, interning at several studios throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, increasing his exposure and displaying his talents as a producer.
Non Native capitalized on the rising Drill Scene encapsulating New York, and began making beats for Fivio Foreign, producing songs such as “Move Like A Boss,” “Demons and Goblins,” and eventually collaborating with Lil Tjay and the King of US Drill Pop Smoke, to create the New York anthem “Zoo York.”
He solidified his place in mainstream music by producing more contemporary R&B such as H.E.R.’s “Hold On,” and producing four tracks on Lil' Tjay’s most recent album Destined 2 Win, including the Platinum Record “Calling My Phone.”
Non Native recently signed with Sony Music Publishing, alongside his partner Bordeaux, making his presence known as one of America’s top up-and-coming producers.
