Noah Berkenkamp Kahan is an indie folk-pop singer/songwriter from the town of Strafford in Vermont.
Being a musician since his childhood, he always had that dream of making music his job. But it took him a long time to get there. The early stage of his career was characterized by playing small shows in front of few people and getting little exposure, as he mentioned in an interview.
In senior year of high school, he started releasing songs online with the help of a producer and friend. Noah’s first officially released single, “Young Blood”, quickly blew up on SoundCloud. His sudden success also caught the attention of Republic Records, and before Noah had even released three tracks, he was signed to a label and was working with the great names of the music industry, such as Joel Little.
In 2018, after releasing his debut EP Hurt Somebody, Noah played lots of concerts, headlining a European tour in spring and a world tour in fall while playing some shows in Australia in between and supporting George Ezra and Leon Bridges on their tours. His debut LP album is confirmed to come out in spring of 2019.
Despite his recent success, Noah is still staying true to his roots. With the songs he releases, he copes with feelings like self-doubt and anxiety and sings about his adventure in the music industry.
