No Buses is a Japanese indie band inspired by 2000’s garage revival icons such as The Cribs and Arctic Monkeys, from which they derive their namesake. They started in October 2016, when lead singer Taisei Kondo met (ex?)guitarist Nontan in College, before picking up bassist Saori Sugiyama, and drummer Issei Ichikawa, thus forming No Buses. Between the release of their first demo, Rat, in 2017 and their first EP, Boring Thing, in 2018, Nontan was replaced by current guitarist Shinya Goto (Citation Needed).
