Ninet Tayeb is an Israeli actress, singer and guitarist. Her first solo album called Yechefa (in English: Barefoot) was released in 2006. For her 2009 album Kommunicativi (Communicative) she abandoned her sweet image and reclaimed herself as a rocker. She collaborated with many musicians during her career, including the well-known English musician Steven Wilson.

Sympathetic Nervous System was Ninet’s first album that was recorded in English. It was released in 2012 and intended for the international market. In 2013, she released an album in Hebrew, and then again returned to English in 2017, releasing her first American album Paper Parachute.
