A member of child vocal group Girl’s Tyme, which blossomed into Destiny’s Child. Unfortunately, along with Tamar Davis and her sister Nina, they didn’t survive the group’s audition process in 1993 and were consequently dropped. LeToya Luckett joined Beyonce, Kelly and LaTavia in the refined Destiny’s Child, transforming from a fledgling sextet to a determined quartet awaiting their opportunity.
