About NIGHTMARE

ナイトメア (rom: naitomea; eng: NIGHTMARE) is a Japanese visual kei rock band from Sendai, Japan. They formed on January 1st, 2000, and are most well known for their songs The World and Alumina, which were used respectively as the first opening and ending songs for the anime Death Note. At the time of their forming, most of the members were still in high school and began as a cover band. The lineup has remained consistent for almost all of the band’s history, with Yomi on lead vocals, Sakito on lead guitar and backing vocals, Histsugi on rhythm guitar, Ni~ya on bass and backing vocals, and Ruka on drums.
