Niels van der Wielen

Niels van der Wielen is a Dutch composer and musician, best known as the guitarist and co-founder of the band Orange Skyline, which he formed with his brother Stefan in 2009.

Initially a classical piano enthusiast, Niels was heavily inspired by the raw energy of rock music after attending an Oasis concert, prompting him to take up the guitar. The band has played at notable venues and festivals, such as Pinkpop and the Ziggo Dome, and they have built a reputation for blending indie rock with other genres like pop and classical music. Niels also graduated cum laude from the Conservatory with a Master of Music, highlighting his versatility across various musical styles.
