Neal Joseph Schon (born February 27, 1954) is an American rock guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist. Being a kid, he learnt to play the guitar, saxophone and oboe. Eric Clapton asked him to join Derek and the Dominos, but he chose Santana instead. Later he also collaborated with Journey, Bad English, Jan Hammer and some others. Schon has his solo albums, too. Nowadays, he still continues playing music.
