Nathan Adams (b. 16 July 1996), known professionally as Nafe Smallz, is rapper-singer hailing from Luton, South East England.
He started making a name for himself in the underground UK rap and grime scene in the early 2010’s after the release of his first mixtape, New Year’s Eve Special. His second underground mixtape Project O was released in 2015.
Nafe started to gain mainstream attention in early 2015 through the release of his marijuana anthem “Smokin”. Soaring higher in 2016 through his freestyle on Charlie Sloth’s Fire in the Booth series and his follow-up’s including Young Thug remix, “Digits”, and the “Smokin (Remix)” which had an all-star roster with Chip & Black The Ripper. His hit-single “Gucci” was released in 2017 as the leading single to his debut commercial mixtape Movie Music, released in 2018. He also featured on the smash-hit “Broken Homes” in 2018.
In 2019, Nafe released his sophomore commerical mixtape Good Love which was a critical and commerical success. It included hits such as the leading track “Good Love” featuring Canadian rapper Tory Lanez and “Bad To The Bone”. The project landed on the UK Charts as Number 48.
2020, Nafe released his mixtape Goat World which showcased his growth as an artist – housing features from the likes of Nines, Chip and more. The project peaked at Number 12 on the UK Album Charts.
