Ebony Randolph (born October 28, 1988), better known as Ms. Hustle, is an American battle rapper and MC from Harlem, New York. A highly influential “femcee” on the battle circuit, Hustle made her battling debut against Queen of the Ring up-and-comer E Hart at URL’s Hitman Holla vs. Arsonal event on December 12, 2010. Soon after, she established herself as the “First Lady of URL” while continuing to build up her profile on Queen of the Ring and URL between 2012 and 2015.
After taking three and-a-half years off to focus on parenthood, Ms. Hustle returned to the ring on March 9, 2019 at Queen of the Ring against Nu Jerzey Twork. Since then, Ms. Hustle has improved her skill set with a renewed focus and energy towards the sport, as she has battled men and women alike on platforms including Queen of the Ring, URL, Houston Bar Code, and Chrome 23.
On February 13, 2023, Ms. Hustle and Jaz The Rapper made Champion’s Top 20 list for the 2022 Champion of the Year, at #13 and #11, respectively. This marked the first time female rappers made the Top 20 ranking since the list was first established in 2017.
Outside of battle rap, Ms. Hustle has been working on music, dropping her debut mixtape Can’t Knock The Hustle in 2017, and collaborating with artists including Nino Man, Dave East, Cam'ron, and the late DJ Kay Slay. She also made headlines in 2022, after a freestyle she performed on DJ Cosmic Kev’s The Come Up Show caught the attention of Snoop Dogg, who expressed interest in signing her to Death Row Records.
