Queens, New York native Matthew Raymond Guzmán, better known by his stage name MRG, is a Dominican-American hip hop recording artist. His heritage and New York roots inspire his unique musical style and razor sharp lyrics. Counting Kanye West, Nas, and Daddy Yankee among his musical influences, MRG has been rhyming in both English and Spanish since 2014, bridging different languages and cultures. After signing to Westvilla Music, MRG dropped his debut EP “Live from the Hurst” in December 2017. His first full-length album “Live from the Hurst 2” was released on October 25, 2019.
