MOTHXR is a Brooklyn-based music band, consisting of Simon Oscroft, Jimmy Giannopoulos, Darren Will, and Penn Badgely, who is widely known for his lead role in a CW series “Gossip Girl”.

When asked about how the band was formed, MOTHXR replied:

Oddly it’s a neighborhood band. Jimmy and Darren have known each other for the better part of a decade, living in Brooklyn. When Penn moved to Brooklyn, he met those two, as did Simon. Last October we left Brooklyn to record the vibe we’d been fostering there for years, basically.
