Morningwood was a pop rock band from New York City, primarily featuring bassist Peter “Pedro” Yanowitz and lead singer Chantal Claret. Despite only releasing two albums, the band gained a strong following due to their charismatic presence and tongue-in-cheek approach. Their song “Nth Degree” reached 30th place on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart in 2005.

Since the band disbanded in 2012, Claret has gone on to a solo career.
