Morat es una banda colombiana de folk-pop/pop-latino de la ciudad de Bogotá creada en 2015. Sus integrantes son Simón Vargas Morales, Juan Pablo Isaza, Martín Vargas Morales y Juan Pablo Villamil. Los integrantes de Morat estudiaron en el mismo instituto, Gimnasio La Montaña, algunos de ellos en la Universidad de los Andes en Bogotá, Colombia, conociéndose desde los cinco años. Comenzaron tocando juntos en varias ocasiones y cuando terminaron su formación tomaron la decisión de crear una banda. Algunas de sus influencias musicales son Joaquín Sabina, Eric Clapton, Bacilos y Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Morat is a Colombian folk-pop/Latin-pop band from the city of Bogotá created in 2015. Its members are Simón Vargas Morales, Juan Pablo Isaza, Martín Vargas Morales and Juan Pablo Villamil. The members of Morat studied in the same institute, Gimnasio La Montaña, some of them at the University of Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, knowing each other since they were five years old. They started playing together several times and when they finished their university major they decided to create a band. Some of their musical influences are Joaquín Sabina, Eric Clapton, Bacilos and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
