Born Sirod McDaniels on April 21, 1994, Mook is a rapper, hailing from Columbia, South Carolina. He is the older cousin of the late Speaker Knockerz, who died on March 6, 2014.

Mook would later add “TBG” in his stage name to become Mook TBG to avoid infringement lawsuits from rappers Mook Boy and Murda Mook in October 2019.
