Motlapele Morule is both a recording artist and a farmer. He is one of the founding members of Morafe a collective of four Maftown mcees: Towdee, Kay-Gee, Khuli Chana and Molemi. However, Mojo was not featured in Morafe’s debut album as he had ventured into farming and his solo music career.

Molemi is one of the pioneers of the South African Hip Hop sub-genre, Motswako. He is one of the rappers to first rap in his native language, Setswana infusing a little bit of Kwaito influence in it. His debut, Amantsi (2007) is an acclaimed South African Hip Hop classic.

Molemi has successfully cemented his name into the history books as one of the finest lyricists in Africa with three albums to prove it: Amantsi (2007), Motsamai (2009) and Asia (2013).
