Imani Lewis aka Mocha Bands (b. April 12th, 1999) is a rapper known best for her wide discography of acting roles. One of her biggest role played to date is Calliope Burns from Netflix’s “First Kill”

At the age of 11, Mocha began her music career in her hometown Queens, New York. With inspiration from lyricist like Lauryn Hill and HOV, storytelling is her way of igniting fire in her listeners ears.

Back in 2017, Mocha released her first body of work titled “The Year of Mocha” on all streaming platforms. A 7-track EP with songs like “Bossy” and “Big Madd ft. Kash Juliano” being her introduction to the sound we know now.

Throughout the years, Mocha has spent a lot of time in between film life and music life causing her a 5 year hiatus.

In October 2022, Mocha released her single “INTRO” off her upcoming debut album. No official date has been announced yet for the album release. Mocha describes her new music as “authentic” and definitely worth the momentum.
