Mista Cain is Samuel Nicholas, a gangsta rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Leader of the Cain Muzik Mafia, his gritty raps describe street violence, drug use, and rough sex. He began rapping during the early 2010s, but his career was put on hold in 2013, when he was arrested on charges of second-degree murder. He spent much of the next few years in prison, but was acquitted in late 2015. He began recording new music soon after his release, and his debut album The Godfather was released in 2016.
