MIscha Spoliansky (1898-1985) was born in Bialystok in what is now Poland. When he was 7, an anti-Jewish pogrom in that city forced his family to split up, and he lived in various European cities with his musician father. After his father’s death, he fell in with Berlin’s jazz clubs and started composing music for stage shows. Forced to flee again by Nazism’s rise, he settled in London, where he enjoyed a prosperous career composing scores for British films.
Mischa Spoliansky's first song Wir fahren immer hin und her (BBC Radio Edit) released on Thu Jan 01 1970.
