About Mike Fraser

Mike Fraser is a Canadian-born record producer and sound engineer who has worked with hundreds of high profile classic rock musicians.
Many instantly recognizable classic rock songs such as AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” and Aerosmith’s “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)” were recorded and mixed by him, as well as albums by Metallica, Rush, Van Halen and Led Zeppelin.

He started out at the infamous Little Mountain Sound Studios in Vancouver, Canada and as of 2017 he is still very much active in the industry, employed as a sound engineer by CRS (Canadian Recording Services).

In 1992, Fraser was presented with a Juno Award for Best Recording Engineer for his work with AC/DC, winning over Randy Staub, who was nominated for Metallica’s “Enter Sandman”.
