Mike Diva (born Mike Dahlquist, June 23, 1987) is an Asian American actor, musician, video director, and FX artist who is a YouTube personality. He describes himself as a “maker of music, videos, memes and dreams.” He is recognizable for his colorful hair, non-celebrity punks, song remixes and spoofs, including viral videos mocking Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
Diva’s 2011 “Sexy Sax Man”-directed video featuring saxophonist Sergio Flores were the first of many of his to claim viral success. He has since amassed over 500,000 subscribers on his channel and was ranked on New Media Rockstar’s Top 100 YouTube Channels. His second channel has almost 50,000 subscriptions of its own. Diva’s other accolades include Streamy Awards nominations for Best Direction, the 2015 Geeky Award for Music Video of the Year, and MTV Clubland’s Pick of the Year for his direction of Kill the Noise’s “Kill the Noise Pt. 1” video.
