From 2007 to 2011 Mikael joined Trentemøller and played over 180 concerts covering 4 continents, including gigs at Roskilde, Glastonbury, and Coachella Festival.

Mikael is a part of the spoken word trio Vi Sidder Bare Her bearing the voice of filmmaker Jørgen Leth, the trio has released 5 albums.

Mikael has also featured playing french harp live with Peter Sommer, Nils Frahm, and Devendra Banhart.

Since the summer of 2014, Mikael has voiced a radio morning show on Danmarks Radio.
