About Mielo

Chicago native DJ/Producer Mielo was destined for baseball greatness until an elbow injury made music his main focus. Brett Stogsdill aka Mielo loves sports, but he is also a classically trained musician that has played piano and trumpet from the age of eight. The 25-year-old Mielo started making a name for himself in 2015 with a series of self-released singles showcasing his unique production and beautifully arranged songs. Mielo caught the attention of artists like Porter Robinson, Louis The Child, Gryffin, and Madeon. Soon after he was touring with each of them and earned four consecutive Hype Machine #1’s.

2019 was a pivotal year for Mielo. In addition to tour dates with Marshmello, Crywolf, Seven Lions, Porter Robinson, and Kaskade, he completed his first North American headline tour, and his song “Surreal” was prominently featured in the hit Netflix original series, Atypical. Mielo also started to work on an EP set for release in the fall of 2020. His latest single “Adventures” is the first from that upcoming EP.
