Midnight was formed as a solo project by Athenar in 2003. He is the only consistent member, and does all of the instruments, with a few exceptions here and there. Midnight play an unmistakable mix of raw, thrashy black and speed metal, tackling lyrical themes such as alcohol/drug use, sexual deviancy, satan, and violence. Midnight have released three full length records and many EPs, splits, demos, singles and compilations.
