Michael B. Nelson is a Minneapolis-based producer, arranger, composer, and trombonist. He is best known for recording and touring with Prince from 1991-2001 and contributing to 20 CDs for the late legend and his associated Paisley Park label. Among is credits is a co-writing credit on “Billy Jack Bitch” from 1995’s The Gold Experience.
Apart from his Prince association, he has also performed and recorded with Chaka Khan, Lenny Kravitz, Sammy Davis Jr., Mandy Moore, Jimmy Jam, Babyface, and many more.
