Michael Moorcock is not only a musician, writing songs for Blue Öyster Cult during his own part-time membership in Hawkwind, but also a founding father of the New Wave Science Fiction movement that gave rise to Cyberpunk. Moorcock edited New Worlds magazine when all of the New Wave authors grew from its nurturing pages.
