Michael Best is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-Songwriter and producer best known for his songs “Bay Street” (2021) and “Dre” (2022).

Michael Best’s music covers a couple of sub-genres of alternative pop and hip-hop. Michael’s sound takes influence from Glass Animals, The Weeknd and Twenty One Pilots.

in 2015 Michael first started making music at the age of 15 after teaching himself piano and ukulele.
At the age of 16 he taught himself Guitar and music production.

It wasn’t until November of 2021 that Michael would release his debut single “Bay Street.”
A slow, synth-filled track about navigating his own mental health struggles.

In July of 2022 Michael released his second single “Dre.” A much darker in tone song in comparison to “Bay Street.” “Dre” pays homage to many of Michael’s favorite artists that have inspired his musical journey thus far including Dr. Dre, Lady Gaga, Glass Animals, Twenty One Pilots and more.

Michael’s lyrics often discuss topics of anxiety, depression and faith.

Michael Best has plans to release his first EP in March of 2023.
