William Anku Kraka Mawuli Andoh Wood (born May 1st, 1996), better known as Merlyn Wood, is an American rapper of Ghanaian descent hailing from Houston, Texas. Born in Chicago, IL, he spent some time in Ghana but spent the majority of his childhood in the state of Texas.

He is a member of boyband BROCKHAMPTON. He lives in Los Angeles, California with the other members.

Merlyn became involved with BROCKHAMPTON because he went to high school with Kevin, Ameer, and other members, but BROCKHAMPTON was not formed until years after their graduation.

Merlyn attended University of Texas for architecture, but was failing one of his classes so bad that his professor told him some words of discouragement that ultimately led him to dropping out and moving to California with the rest of BROCKHAMPTON.
