Melwood, a five piece Alternative Rock/Pop band based in Liverpool, UK formed in early 2018 with members Tom Shortell, Josh McShane, Nathan Morton-Woods, Benny Hoggarth and Eddie Edwards. The band began writing, and developing their sound utilising influence from artists such as Movements, You Me At Six and Moose Blood.

After compiling a worthy live set, Melwood began to build their audience with live performances alongside the likes of Layover, Shaded, Wolf Culture and Victory Lane. After many hometown shows close to sellouts, the band’s next step was to head out on their first UK tour, and have since
toured the country several times in their short career alongside the likes of RCKLSS, Out Cold, Evade Escape and Evertim.

On February 28th, 2020 Melwood released their debut self-titled EP Melwood.
