Melanie Joy Fontana

American EDM and pop singer, songwriter artist, Melanie Fontana (born October 3, 1986) has written songs & singles for Britney Spears, BTS, Krewella, The Chainsmokers, Justin Bieber & more.

In Korea and Japan, Melanie has written singles & songs released by Girls Generation, f(x), Hyolyn, Jay Park, Minzy, Flowsik, Jay Park, Melody Day, Kumi Koda, I.O.I, Tiffany and BP Rania.

Most recently known for writing BTS’s “Euphoria”, “Mikrokosmos” and “ON”. She and her husband, Michel “Lindgren” Schulz, co-wrote the 2019 BTS single “Boy with Luv feat. Halsey”. She also sang backing vocals on the song and joined the band for their performance on Saturday Night Live.
