Born Melvin Jerome Blank (May 30, 1908 – July 10, 1989), Mel Blanc was an American voice actor and radio personality/comedian from San Francisco, CA. He is best known for voicing many of the original Looney Tunes characters, such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, to name a few.

Nicknamed “The Man of a Thousand Voices”, in this 1981 interview on the David Letterman show he claims to have done “about 400 different voices”:
