Mehrshad Khanj was born in Iran on February 19, 1990. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in computer hardware, he entered the “Art of Sound Academy” in Tehran and completed the 1st and 2nd degree sound engineering courses, as well as the harmony and theory of music course. He studied music with prominent professors such as Kamal Portorab, Reza Khosravi and Ali Ghabel and started arranging music professionally at the age of 17.

He made his first professional collaboration in a music album at the age of 17 and entered the professional world of music. Also, at the age of 21, he participated in many film projects and TV series as an assistant composer and mix mastering.

In 2018, he was present in 2 tracks of the album Champs Elysee with Farzad Farzin's voice as an arranger and mix mastering specialist. After that, he worked as a consultant and in charge of music production for 1 year in the new vocal company for singers such as Macan Band, Hamid Hiraad, Farzad Farrokh, Ragheb, Reza Yazdani, Mohammad Reza Froutan, Sohrab Pakzad, Emad Talebzadeh, Babak Mafi, and many popular singers of the country arranged music In 2019, he produced The Positive Energy album with the voice of Farzad Farrokh, which was done with the beginning of this singer’s concerts. Also, in 2020, he arranged a music track with the Macan group called Ba To, which was chosen as a popular track among the fans of this group. In 2022, he produced the painting album with the Macan Band group and arranged and mixed mastered 5 tracks in this track, which was highly appreciated by the fans of this group. Mehrshad Khanj is also present as an arranger in the music album of the prominent actor Mohammad Reza Froutan and is currently producing international music tracks in his own style.
