Meghdol is a theatrical rock band from Dhaka which took the scene by surprise with their mesmerizing debut album “ Droher Montre Bhalobasha”. Their unique style of composition sets them apart from all other bands of this generation. Meghdol glows in its subtitle “Droher Montre Bhalobasha” which means social commitment. Meghdol believes music and mankind do not stay apart. The present social and political context reflects on the Lyric and composition of the Band. The structure of Meghdol has been created with the proper blending of music and Theatrical metaphor. So it may conceder Meghdol as a Theatrical Band group.

“The word "Meghdol” is borrowed from a poem by Charles Baudelaire. The Bangla translation was made by Buddhadeb Bosu. By Meghdol, we mean our desire to surrender ourselves to infinity in the most desirable way. And also, the clouds hold a special meaning in our hearts and our music to rise above all and see the world without prejudice.
