Megan Fox (born May 16, 1986) is an American actress best known for her roles in action films, notably both the Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. She is also known for her roles in the sitcoms Hope & Faith (2004) and New Girl (2016), as well as Disney’s musical teen film Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004) and the horror comedy Jennifer’s Body (2009) which developed cult followings over the years.
In the 2000s, Megan became one of Hollywood’s most recognizable sex symbols being featured on various magazine covers along with “hottest” and “most beautiful woman” lists. The increased media exposure was difficult for her, who acknowledged being shy and insecure, to adjust to.
