MEGA was the former name of the artist Michael Pitcher, also known as Mike Vatic. MEGA began releasing songs on MySpace.com in 2007 after downloading FL Studio. He released 3 instrumental albums, TANBEAT (07), DEFACE&ANNIHILATE (07), and ANTIMODEL EP (08).

MEGA gained attention from major label Atlantic Records for his 2009 releases “Solid Gold” and “Break Your Teeth”, along with subsequent remixes; notably “Solid Gold (Mr.Kitty Remix). He ultimately decided not to pursue a working relationship with the label. MEGA went on to intern for Hollywood Records, doing free work for other artists, and ultimately stopped releasing music publicly.

In 2015, Pitcher rebranded and began performing under the name Mike Vatic, releasing “Go Getter” summer of that year. He continued producing and performing new material live, but decided not to release anything until 2024.
