ME:I is an 11-member group formed from season 3 of Produce 101 JAPAN, and its first girls season. The group’s name refers to the girls being the representation of the “future idols” (mirai) of Japan in the new generation, and being “loved (Ai (love) bears the same pronunciation to "I” in Japanese)“ by their fans.

The member’s birth years range from 2000 to 2007 and consist of Cocoro Kato (加藤心), Sakurai Miu (櫻井美羽), Momona Kasahara (笠原桃奈), Ran Ishii (石井蘭), Shizuku Iida (飯田栞月), Ayane Takami (高見文寧), Keiko Shimizu (清水恵子), Kokona Sasaki (佐々木心菜), Rinon Murakami (村上璃杏), Suzu Yamamoto (山本すず), and Tsuzumi Ebihara (海老原鼓).

On 25 March 2024, they made their debut with the pre-release song “Click”. It served as their head single from MIRAI, which would be released in May that same year.

The group’s fandom name is YOU:ME. YOU represent the fans and ME represents the members, with the name hoping to move forward hand in hand toward the “future” and “dreams” of fans and members.
