Stefan Burnett (born May 10, 1978) is an American rapper best known by the stage name MC Ride. He is the vocalist and frontman of experimental hip hop trio Death Grips, alongside drummer/producer Zach Hill (of the band Hella) and producer Andy Morin.
He attended Hampton University in Virginia to pursue a career in visual arts. MC Ride’s vocal delivery was described as:

Burnett also performed under the alias “MXLPLX”—both as a solo artist and as a member of the rap group Fyre—alongside his brother, rapper Swank Daddy, before joining Death Grips in 2010.
