Mavi Phoenix (born September 1st, 1995 in Linz, Austria) is an Austrian pop artist with Syrian roots.
He sings, raps and produces his own songs, blending pop, rap, and R&B.

He grew up attending English-speaking schools. When he was 11, he began playing guitar and producing his own music in GarageBand after his father gave him an old MacBook. In an interview, Mavi talked about the origin of his stage name: he chose Phoenix as a tribute to the actor River Phoenix as well as for its symbolic meaning of renewal, Mavi would have been the female name of his brother.
In 2017 he founded his own label (LLT Records).
In his video to Bullet in my heart Mavi mentions his gender dysphoria.
