Matthew Young is a producer and songwriter from Hartford, Connectictu. At an early age, Young pursued a career in pop-influenced rock music, performing weekly parties as a dance-party DJ with his production partner, Grant Wheeler. The two formed the band Body Language in 2008 and later formed the band Vacationer with Kenny Vasoli from The Starting Line in 2010. Young helped play an integral role in both bands, not only in producing the records, but also writing vocal parts and lyrics.

As a solo artist, Matthew Young has released two EP’s, along with several singles. His music combines influences of R&B and Pop styles under slick production, with lyrics full of witicism and cultural references.
