Matthew Williams (Guitarist)

Matt Williams is one of the earliest founding members from the Chicago rock band Post Animal, forming the band with lead vocalist and childhood friend Dalton Allison soon after the pair moved to Chicago from their smaller town in southern Illinois. (Source)

In Post Animal, Matt usually plays the guitar, but also dips into other roles as many of the members do. He’s sung and presumably written several of their songs, including “Heart Made Of Metal” and “In A Paradise” while also being part of Post Animal’s usual collaborative writing process.

In an interview with Ones To Watch, Matt shared his love for metal and prog rock, both of which can be felt in the songs he’s had the most hand in. Matt also likes Addison Rae and One Direction (via that same interview and reddit ama)
