Matt Watson (born February 5th, 1996) is an American internet comedian, filmmaker, musician, and Let’s Player.

Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Watson’s YouTube career began with the creation of the sketch comedy group Kids w/ Problems in 2014. In the summer of the following year, Watson began collaborating with Ryan Magee and Daniel Kyre on their pre-established sketch-comedy channel Cyndago. During this time he also joined the duo as an editor for the Let’s Player Markiplier.

Following Kyre’s death,, Cyndago ceased production and the duo split off from Markiplier. On April 12th, 2016, the duo announced their next joint venture: SuperMega, a YouTube channel with a heavier focus on gaming, with a weekly podcast and occasional live-action vlogs, sketches, music, and more. Around this time, Watson and Magee began editing for the Let’s Play channel Game Grumps, but they left in 2019 in order to focus on SuperMega full-time.

In mid-2020, after releasing several comedic rap songs and Christmas-themed covers, Watson pulled through with OUCH!, his first serious musical endeavor. Made in isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic, the EP melds slick electronic/pop production with Watson’s smooth vocals to create a chill, poppy experience.

Watson is also a co-founder of the video production collective Lazy Eye, through which he has co-directed music videos for artists like Freddie Dredd, Slater, FrankJavCee, and Emmitt James.
