Mathaius Young is an hip-hop artist, producer and songwriter from Cleveland, Ohio who currently lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. Young has released 3 projects, a self-titled EP, Backyard Wrestling Association (with Nagasaki Dirt) and Pilot. Young is set to release his debut album, Take the Night Away on May 26th 2017. In 2014, he released his self-titled EP, which featured Indi native Nagasaki Dirt, Tae Miles and Ari Moto. As with all of Young’s projects he handles the majority of production and engineering. He follows up after this project with working locally, supplying the Indianapolis scene with his raw sound. Young goes onto collaborating with Tre Capital, on the L.A. rapper’s Gundam Pt. 2 EP with co-production along side multi-platinum producer Eestbound, and an additional guest verse.
In the latter half of 2015 and in 2016, Young releases numerous singles for Pilot, including Go featuring Drayco McCoy, All I Know and One To One. Pilot features the likes Outfit and upcoming R&B artist, Ye Ali on the song ‘Felt’, which was later removed off of Young’s SoundCloud page.
Young carries on momentum by working with Atlanta super producer Sonny Digital multiple times, on Digital’s Everyday single and on Digital’s G.O.A.T. EP on tracks First Call and a re-work of Hell To Pay. With the run up to his debut album, he starts setting the bar dropping tracks like Rush and 1-800, and a verse on MARTIN $KY’s If Anybody Ever Told You That They Know Me, They Lied.
