Mateo Ruiz is a 14 year old San Diego California based artist. He grew up with a love for music and art. Mateo is a self-taught artist, who has been playing the guitar for 2 years. He was influenced by bands/artists such as, Scruffpuppie, Whirr, Slowdive, Duster, Salvia Palth, and much more. His friend, Eilya Soriano shared the passion of music and together wrote, Only If you Knew, Mateo’s first single and song released. He later started writing more songs and experimenting with more genres such as, Emo Acoustic, Dream Pop, Post Punk, and Shoegaze. Mateo Later released two Ep’s, Spending The Time We Don’t Have and 4 Songs About You.
