About Mario Judah

Mario Diamond-Judah Douglas (born December 6, 1999), known professionally as Mario Judah, is a rock musician, rapper, audio engineer and producer born in Flint, Michigan, and reigning from Atlanta, Georgia.

Mario started making music at the age of 17 when he started making beats, but he wouldn’t release his first song “Crush” until June 19, 2020. To this day, all of his songs are self-produced, testaments to his talent as not only a rapper and singer but as a producer.

Mario has credited his vibrato-style singing to Clever. Mario Judah’s inspiration ranges from Chief Keef, Migos, and Young Thug to Breaking Benjamin, Five Finger Death Punch, and Pantera.

After only making music for three months, Mario Judah started to see success in October of 2020 when his breakout song “Die Very Rough” blew up.

Judah’s rising star quickly exploded even further with the release of “Bih Yah,” the lead single from his debut EP Whole Lotta Red. The Playboi Carti-inspired trap banger was intended to provoke Carti into releasing his long-awaited sophomore album of the same name, but it had the unexpected side effect of adding a massive legion of starving Carti fans to Judah’s growing fanbase.

Throughout 2021, Mario had been silent about his releases. He had released a collaborative track with Tes X titled “It’s Time To Rock.” In the same year, Mario also released “Remember Your Name.” after almost eight months of silence.

In 2022, Mario released the single “Afraid Of Love” to help promote his upcoming debut studio album, which originally planned to be released that year, but was ultimately put on holt due to his indefinite hiatus from music. In the same year, Mario has collaborated with other artists such as TheHxliday and Killstation. After going on hiatus from music for nearly a year, Mario Judah would shock fans on November 5, 2023, where he released “I’m Tryna Send Him To Hell,” in which Mario Judah “turned a new leaf” on becoming a Christian, as teased through his social media comeback.

Entering into 2024, Mario Judah would surprise fans once again with his second official EP, Endure, which released on February 2, 2024. The release also revealed that he signed a new record deal with Universal Music Group, after dealing with a complicated deal with his formal label, Atlantic Records.
